Entertainment Case Study 2
Client: Global IT Company
Event: Team Evening Entertainment, 'Y-Oh-Y Factor'
Project Overview
Following the success of the previous years ' Y-Oh-Y Factor' event in February 2005, Top Banana Team were asked to organise a bigger evening of entertainment in 2006.
The X-Factor TV show was our inspiration for the event as we launched an interactive talent search based on the programmes format. The objective of the event was to find contenders willing to compete from the company staff pool, in addition to those wishing to imitate the the shows' judges; the straight-talking Simon Cowell, feisty Sharon Osbourne and Westlife manager Louis Walsh.
Mirroring the hit TV show, members of the company were invited to take to the specially created X-Factor stage and belt out various pop hits with as much gusto, passion, and oomph as they could muster! Those too shy to take part were able to stand back and cheer on (or cringe!) the wannabe warblers! As with the format of the television show, the audience had the opportunity to vote for the best act who they thought had the 'Y-Oh-Y Factor' - the nominated act winning a Karaoke machine provided by Top Banana Team.
The very nature of the event highlights our ability to devise fun, morale-boosting and interactive events guaranteed to motivate and inspire.
