After leaving college in Bristol, Lucy embarked on a career within the recruitment industry where she also continued to study and gained qualifications in Business Administration. She worked as a Recruitment Consultant for three years.
Following redundancy in 1998, Lucy went to work for the University of West of England as Programme Administrator and Course Secretary for the BA Business Decision Analysis course. Lucy worked along side the final year students for this course having responsibility for their coursework and final exams. Her last responsibilities included organising their Graduation Day.
Lucy left UWE to travel to Australia for 3 months. She returned to the UK 3 years later having settled in Sydney and working again as a Senior Recruitment Consultant, recruiting Solicitors and Barristers for the city's leading law firms.
After returning to the UK, Lucy spent the following year in an Insurance Administration role whilst deciding between life in Sydney or the UK.
Top Banana Team was the deciding factor and Lucy joined the team as an Event Organiser in October 2003.
The Imelda Marcos of Farleigh Hungerford, when Lucy's not adding to her extensive shoe collection, she's been known to organise and run a number of conferences, team builds and evening entertainment events throughout the UK and Europe.
